SUBSTANCE: used for disinfection and sanitation of indoor air in the presence of people and/or animals, as well as for cleaning the air from unpleasant odors. A method for producing a liquid odor absorber is proposed, which consists in the reagent processing of raw materials, peat is used as a raw material, diluted with water until a mash ratio of 12:1 is reached, followed by the addition of an aqueous solution of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide when heated, separation of the solid phase, while the suspension of peat after reaching the mash ratio is subjected to mechanical activation in a rotary pulsation apparatus, when the frequency regulator of the apparatus is indicated at 45 Hz in a closed circuit for 10 minutes, after which heating is carried out at a temperature of 115-130°C for 3 hours with the addition of 20-25% concentrated aqueous ammonia and 20-37% concentrated hydrogen peroxide solution on an absolutely dry mass of peat, without subsequent concentration of the liquid phase.

EFFECT: obtaining a liquid odor absorber that does not contain allergenic additives that mask unpleasant odors, is safe for human respiratory organs and skin, and is harmless to animals, based on ingredients of natural origin.
