FIELD: glass production.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to an installation for cleaning the regeneration chambers of furnaces for production of glass products with stacked hollow refractory elements and to a method for cleaning these chambers. Installation for cleaning the regeneration chambers of furnaces for production of glass products with stacked hollow refractory elements that delimit vertical channels in form of exhaust pipes for combustion vapours from these furnaces, contains a self-propelled support structure to be inserted into the compartment (55), which is located under the specified regeneration chamber (56) to be cleaned and which is connected with said regeneration chamber (56), at least one tube (24) attached to said self-propelled support structure and configured to direct the flow of cleaning powder and compressed air along said vertical channels produced by the compressor (50), which is designed to be placed outside the specified regeneration chamber (56) to be cleaned, at least one suction pipe (8) attached to the specified support structure and configured to suck the powdered cleaning material and the suctioned materials with of the earth that were removed from it during the cleaning operation, at least one video camera (30, 32, 34) installed on the specified support structure, at least one monitor (60) controlled from the outside by means of the specified at least one video camera (30, 32, 34) for the correct operation of the specified installation.
EFFECT: providing the possibility for the operator to stay at a distance from the regeneration chamber with high temperatures, eliminating the need for operators to perform time-consuming actions consisting of moving the tube, providing the possibility of maintaining the compartment under the regeneration chamber essentially closed to prevent hot air from escaping and eliminate negative consequences resulting from this, ensuring that the furnace does not cool down, allowing the regeneration chamber to be completely cleaned regardless of the linear placement of the exhaust pipes, allowing the furnace to operate continuously for 24 hours, allowing automatic operation with proper programming.
