FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a product of mineral wool, fixed with a binder, its production method, the use of at least two hydrocolloids in a binder composition for the production of a product of mineral wool, and a method for binding of surfaces of two or more elements to each other. The product of mineral wool contains mineral fibers fixed with a binder obtained as a result of curing of the binder composition containing at least two hydrocolloids, wherein one hydrocolloid is gelatin, and at least one another hydrocolloid is selected from a group consisting of pectin, starch, alginate, agar-agar, carrageenan, gellan gum, guar gum, gum arabic, carob bean gum, xanthan gum, cellulose derivatives, such as carboxymethylcellulose, arabinoxylan, cellulose, curdlan, β-glucan. The group of inventions is developed in independent and dependent claims.
EFFECT: reduction in a curing temperature of a binder composition, decrease or elimination of corrosion and/or harmful materials.
