FIELD: communication technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication technologies using a direct communication line (sidelink). The technical result of the invention is to reduce the energy consumption of user equipment. The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the user equipment determines the result of measuring the occupancy of the forward link channel corresponding to the first time interval. The user equipment determines the forward link transmission limit in the second time slot in accordance with the occupancy measurement result of the forward link channel. In this case, the second time interval satisfies the specified condition in relation to the first time interval.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption of user equipment.
