FIELD: radio communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: communication terminal comprises a controller configured to determine, based on information about a plurality of neighbouring cells, the position of a resynchronization signal resource that does not overlap with respect to time or frequency between neighbouring cells, the number of which is equal to or less than a predetermined number, and a receiver configured capable of receiving a neighbouring cell resynchronization signal based on the said position.
EFFECT: reduced system costs for signal transmission required when the user terminal performs a measurement using the neighbouring cell resynchronization signal.
