FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration dampers of the working tool of a cable robot, namely to a cable system with a passive vibration damping. The cable system with a passive dynamic vibration damper contains a supporting structure, a mobile platform suspended on several cables on the supporting structure, while it has a control unit that is connected to the actuators for moving the cables and is designed to control these actuators for changing the position and orientation of the mobile platform, and a passive vibration damper with the passive vibration damper made in the form of a movable mass placed outside the mobile platform with the rotation capability, while an elastic element is placed between the mobile platform and the movable mass.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of damping of torsional vibrations.
