FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a belt-cable system for damping vibrations of structures experiencing dynamic loads from seismic effects, process equipment, wind, etc. The belt-cable system is formed by belt-cable elements equipped with pretensioners and single-acting hydraulic cylinders, fixed to the protected nodes and supports, creating a cumulative one-sided force impact on the protected nodes of the supporting structures, preventing the oscillatory movements of these nodes.
EFFECT: semi-active damping of spatial vibrations of the protected mechanical system.
