SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices based on a cable robot. To catch falling objects, the system for catching falling objects based on a cable robot contains four supports, in the upper part of which there are rollers along which the cables move, in the lower part of the supports there are electric motors for controlling the cables, providing by means of software control the movement of the robot platform in a horizontal plane and the movement of the captured object to the lower level of the robot's workspace, the mobile robot platform is fixed on cables and is movable mainly in the horizontal plane.

EFFECT: mesh catcher is used as the robot's platform.
