FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing modules of highly efficient solar cells on a string frame in solar batteries of spacecraft. The method for manufacturing a solar cell module includes applying an adhesion promoter layer to the backside of the solar cells, heat treating the solar cells, and sticking a protective glass plate and a protective substrate onto the silicone filler. The glass plate, the solar cell, and the protective substrate are fixed on supporting frames made of imidoflex film. The silicone filler is a mixture of components of silicone compound SIEL grade 159-322A taken at the following ratio: paste – 1 part by volume, hardener – 0.8÷1.2 parts by volume, and, after gelation of the SIEL silicone compound with a highly viscous consistency, excess silicone filler is removed by mechanical cleaning, then a fixed deflection of the solar cell is created and heat treatment is performed.
EFFECT: ability to increase the yield of usable solar cells due to defect-free cleaning of the solar cell from excess SIEL silicone compound when gluing the glass plate and the protective substrate.
