FIELD: wood grinding.
SUBSTANCE: device for grinding thermally modified wood consists of a cutting working body driven by a gearbox connected to a motor by means of a belt drive. The cutting working body of the device is a disk cutting blade rotating in a horizontal plane, the cutting edge of which is made in the form of a spiral. For feed and stop when cutting raw materials, rectangular holes are used, located on a fixed plate that fits snugly against the cutting disc. Guides are installed on the plate to support and supply wood raw materials in a given direction, corresponding to the size and shape of the holes.
EFFECT: obtaining chips of the required size and shape from thermally modified wood.
