FIELD: polymer chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: biodegradable polymer barrier material and a coating made from it. The polymer material consists of a mixture of 5 parts by weight of cellulose acetate, 5 parts by weight of cellulose propionate, 5 parts by weight of polyglycerosuccinate, 2 parts by weight of polyvinyl alcohol, and 2 parts by weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone. Biodegradability of finished products ranges from 67 to 79%.
EFFECT: polymer material proposed in the invention has increased strength and barrier properties, and also has a high degree of biodegradation.
