FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the equipment for through impregnation with liquids and pressing of wood. A device for impregnating and pressing wood comprises an impregnation device (8), a hydraulic station, a control panel, a container with an impregnating solution (1), a pump (2), a pipeline (7), and a filter (6). The device for impregnation and pressing of wood additionally comprises a collector (3) and a hydraulic distributor (5) equipped with a pressure gauge (4) to separate the flow of the impregnating solution, as well as a vacuum pump (10) to speed up the process of wood impregnation and a container for collecting liquid (12). Moreover, the vacuum pump is equipped with a vacuum gauge (11) and is connected to an impregnation device and a container for collecting liquid using a vacuum hose (9). The impregnation device is a cassette with a package of six moulds and is equipped with fittings for introducing the impregnating solution, a rear cover with a fixed blade plate and a front bayonet cover with a movable blade plate, rubber seals and a bayonet ring.

EFFECT: combination and acceleration of process operations of impregnation and pressing of wood blanks in the manufacture of transfer bars for railways.
