SUBSTANCE: invention is related to presses for manufacturing glued beams. The press consists of a frame structure mounted on racks, on which a ramp is pivotally fixed with hydraulic cylinders creating lateral pressure on the pressed lumber package put on it, while the ramp is equipped with lifting hydraulic cylinders. In the upper part of the frame structure, hydraulic cylinders are fixed for pressing the lumber package and a locking mechanism is installed, equipped with hydraulic cylinders for its fixation to hold the ramp in a vertical position. The press is equipped with a hydraulic station, to the pressure line of which hydraulic distributors are connected, which are connected to hydraulic cylinders.

EFFECT: ease of use of the press increases with the possibility of automating the process of manufacturing glued beams.
