METHOD FOR OBTAINING THE COMPOSITION FOR TREATING INITIAL DENTAL CARIES Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61K6/02 

FIELD: medicine, stomatology.

SUBSTANCE: one should prepare aqueous solution of calcium chloride and sodium fluoride, the gels obtained should be cooled up to the room temperature to be then mixed, then one should measure pH of the composition suggested to obtain desired value with KOH solution, moreover, one should prepare 2%-aqueous solution (CaCl₂) and 1%-potassium dihydrophosphate solution (KH₂PO₄), then all solutions should be supplemented with hot 4.5%-CMC colloid solution, after cooling and mixing the gels, pH should be achieved of 6.9-7.15 with saturated KOH solution, then gel of sodium fluoride should be added with CMC to measure pH again and with the help of electrodes one should measure the quantity of active calcium and active fluoride. The composition consists of calcium, phosphorus and fluorine at the ratio of 2:1:1, weight portion of active fluorine corresponds to 4.75% against fluorine introduced, active calcium - 2.52 against introduced calcium. The innovation enables to obtain composition at increased portion of fluorine and calcium activity that provides prolonged curative effect.
