FIELD: cable technology.
SUBSTANCE: cable comprises a core protected by a braid of steel wires, wrapped with a water-blocking element, consisting of a central reinforcing element, around which miniature optical cables are twisted, made of optical fibres in a dense buffer coating, reinforcing threads, and a sheath of polymer material; in a common protective sheath made of halogen-free polymer material.
EFFECT: increasing fire resistance and mechanical strength, as well as ensuring resistance to aggressive environments and mould fungi.
