SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cleaning of main pipelines from contamination, and can be used to eliminate hydrate deposits. The method of removing hydrate plugs in gas pipelines using microwaves differs in that the microwave source is a magnetron generator with a power of 50-100 kW and a frequency of 900-930 MHz. Channeling of radiation, including transformation of the wave structure, is carried out using full-size waveguide elements.
EFFECT: achieving a real effect of removing hydrate plugs with less time and less consumption of resources.
