FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas pipelines drying after hydraulic tests. Device for drying pipelines of compressor station workshops with powerful microwave radiation, containing a wave exciter in the form of a waveguide introduced into the pipe section perpendicular to its axis. Axis of the waveguide is shifted relative to the axis of the pipe at distance of 0.76 to 0.82 of its radius.
EFFECT: reduced weight and dimensions of the wave exciter of the drying device with uniform distribution of the field along the perimeter of the pipe in multiwave conditions.
