FIELD: material sorting.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for separating bulk materials, including separating a grain mixture. A slotted separator for bulk materials contains a hopper for loading bulk material and supplying it to separation elements installed in a row in a frame with sides sloping towards the movement of the bulk material from the hopper to the roller assembly with the possibility of axial rotation, forming longitudinal slot passages between them, the width of which increases in the direction of movement of the bulk material, and every second of the passages in the row is protected from the entry of bulk material into them by tent-shaped screens located above them and attached to the opposite end walls of the frame. The rollers are cinematically connected to the gear motor and to each other by means of spur gears attached to their ends. Under the longitudinal slotted passages there are trays for collecting separated material fractions. The separator is equipped with a spring-loaded supporting box in which all the elements of the separator are installed, and is also equipped with a vibration exciter made in the form of first and second crankshafts, pivotally connected through cranks to the frame of the separation elements and mounted for rotation in bearings rigidly connected to the box. The crankshafts are equipped with unbalances, shifted to opposite ends of the frame of separation elements and cinematically connected to each other by means of sprockets of the same diameter installed on them and a chain drive, ensuring their synchronous rotation in frequency and angle of rotation.
EFFECT: increase in the operational performance of the separator, accuracy of particle separation into fractions and productivity of the separator.
