FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to devices for separation of grain mixture and can be used in agricultural production. Slotted grain separator contains a hopper for grain loading and its supply to the separation elements in the form of rollers installed in a row in a frame with sides and made with possibility of axial rotation and forming between each other longitudinal slotted passages, the width of which increases in the direction of grain movement from the hopper to the gathering. Every second passage in the row is protected against ingress of grain particles by tent-like screens attached to the opposite end walls of the frame. Rollers are kinematically connected to the geared motor and to each other by means of gears fixed on their ends. Trays for collection of separated material fractions are located under longitudinal slotted passages. Separator is equipped with a bearing box in which there is a grain loading bin and separation elements. Rollers of separation elements are made with screw thread, right thread on roller located on one side of slotted passage, and left thread on roller located on opposite side of slotted passage. Frame with rollers is installed horizontally. Grain loading bin outlet is located directly above the end sections of the rollers at a distance which is several percent greater than the size of the largest grain particle.
EFFECT: improving the performance of the separator, namely increasing the accuracy of grain separation into fractions and the productivity of the separator.
