FIELD: microfluidics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to a microfluidic device and a method for its manufacturing. The microfluidic device containing the first substrate having the first mounting side and the second substrate having the second mounting side is configured to be connected to the first mounting side for joining the first substrate and the second substrate with each other. At least one side of the first mounting side and the second mounting side has a fluid chamber channel, and after connecting the first substrate and the second substrate to each other, the fluid chamber channel forms a fluid chamber having a fluid inlet and an outlet fluid hole. At least one said side of the first mounting side and the second mounting side, having a fluid chamber channel, has an outlet expansion groove located adjacent to and extending downstream from the fluid outlet, wherein at the fluid outlet the outer contour of the outlet expansion groove is located outside the outer contour of the outlet for the fluid.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of control and manipulation of small volumes of liquids.
