FIELD: SHF filter.

SUBSTANCE: waveguide bandpass microwave filter is made in the form of a rectangular waveguide, ending on both sides with flanges for including the filter in the radio transmission path circuit, with inductive diaphragms installed inside the waveguide. The rectangular waveguide is made in the form of a set of waveguide sections connected to each other by means of connecting elements, inductive diaphragms are installed perpendicular to the long side of the waveguide between the sections and are structurally fixed between the waveguide sections using screw connections, whereas the number and overall dimensions of the sections are determined by the requirements for the amplitude-frequency characteristic (frequency response) of the filter, and a screw is inserted into each section of a rectangular waveguide in the centre of the wide side of the waveguide section to fine-tune the shape of the frequency response, whereas the filter design is configured for its complete disassembly to replace or add any diaphragm and waveguide section. The diameter of the screws for fine tuning the shape of the frequency response is determined by the ratio of 1/10 of the size of the wide side of the waveguide section.

EFFECT: providing a constructive possibility of quick replacement of inductive diaphragms and adjustment of the filter bandwidth in the entire operating range of the waveguide.
