FIELD: bed frame.

SUBSTANCE: bed frame (100) contains the first and the second transverse elements made of metal, having a box-like shape, respectively located close to the front backrest (10) and rear backrest (11) of the bed (L), which are connected to each other by a pair of longitudinal elements (6). Said first and second transverse members (1, 2) support bed joinery (8, 9) located within said longitudinal members (6), suitable for acting as spacer members to support a bed base (12) on which the mattress (M) of the bed itself (L) is placed.

EFFECT: accordingly, calibrating the height of the joinery (8, 9) of the bed, which are interchangeable, according to the greater or lesser thickness of the mattress (M), ensures an almost constant height of the upper horizontal side (20) of the latter from the supporting base, as well as its protrusion relative to the upper edges of the longitudinal elements (6).
