FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: optical system of a dispersive interferometer is a device for diagnosing plasma density. The invention can be used to measure the linear plasma density or dispersion properties of any medium transparent to interferometer radiation. The technical result of the invention is to reduce sensitivity to vibrations and expand the measurement range with definite phase retrieval. The optical system of the dispersive interferometer also includes a CO2 laser with a wavelength in the mid-infrared range. And also two mid-infrared frequency doublers, between which two vacuum windows and an elasto-optical cell, which is used for phase modulation, are located along the path of the laser beam. The corner reflector is placed on a separate stand, mechanically isolated from the vacuum chamber of the tokamak.
EFFECT: reduced sensitivity to vibrations and expanded measurement range with definite phase retrieval.
