SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrasonic treatment of welded pipeline joints. The housing is made in the form of a divided hollow cylinder, at the ends of which connecting elements are made as a single unit in the form of a divided hollow cylinder of a smaller diameter than the housing; holes are made in the side surface of the connecting elements for installing a bolted connection; oscillatory systems are rigidly installed on the surface of the housing in a checkerboard pattern, a gasket for a sealed connection is fixed around the perimeter of each of the halves of the housing, inside of which a battery pack is installed, the output of which is connected to the input of the inverter, the output of which is connected to the input of the control unit, the output of which is connected to the input of the odometer, the output of which is connected to the input of the ultrasonic generator, the output which is connected to the input of the oscillatory systems.

EFFECT: reduction of residual welding stresses in the heat-affected zone of a main pipeline.
