FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to converters of alternating voltage to constant voltage, and can be used in secondary power supply systems for power factor correction, conversion and regulation of constant output voltage. The device contains a choke 1 connected via a control key 2, implemented in the form of a (MOSFET), the control electrode of which is connected to a pulse width controller 13. In parallel to the control key 2, a circuit consisting of a capacitor 3 connected in series and a primary winding 4 of a power transformer 5 is connected, the secondary windings 6, 11 of which are connected through rectifier diodes 7, 10 to the filter capacitors 8, 9 connected in series, in parallel with which the load 12 is switched on. In the proposed power factor corrector, the beginning the windings of the choke 1 are connected to the positive pole of the rectifier bridge, the second pole of which is connected to the negative pole of the rectifier bridge through the control key 2. In parallel to the control key 2, a serial circuit consisting of a capacitor 3 and the primary winding 4 of the power transformer 5 is connected. With the beginning of the secondary winding 6 of the power transformer 5, the anode of the rectifier diode 7 is connected, the cathode of which is connected to one of the terminals of the capacitor 8. The second terminal of the capacitor 8 is connected to the end of the winding 6. The end of the winding 6 is connected to one from the terminals of the capacitor 9, the second terminal of which is connected to the anode of the rectifier diode 10, the cathode of which is connected to the beginning of the winding 11, the end of which is connected to the end of the winding 6. In parallel to the series-connected capacitors 8 and 9, the load is switched on 12. The control electrode of the control key 2 is connected to the pulse width controller 13.
EFFECT: technical result is the formation of a constant output voltage from an alternating input voltage using a single voltage converter that combines the functions of a step-up regulator (Boost Converter) and a DC-to-DC converter (DC-DC Converter), which performs electrical isolation and obtaining the required level of constant output voltage, ensuring continuity of current flow from the source alternating voltage and its in-phase with alternating voltage, simplification of the control circuit of the voltage converter, improvement of the indicators of the power factor corrector.
