FIELD: radio detecting and ranging.

SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at increasing the accuracy and reliability of the radar station’s reconnaissance information and reducing the error in determining the target coordinates along the trajectory. This result is achieved through the use of a device for optimizing the weighting coefficients of tracking filtering, consisting of blocks: simulating the trajectory of a target, fluctuations of the effective scattering surface, modelling scanning and antenna radiation patterns, assessing the potential and probability of detection, assessing potential errors in determining coordinates, synchronous output of information, tracking filtering and performance evaluation.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and reliability of the radar station’s reconnaissance information and reducing the error in determining the target coordinates along the trajectory.
