FIELD: traumatology; orthopaedics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in tissue engineering to evaluate the effectiveness of using a cell-engineered construct in vivo based on a polymer carrier and cell culture in an experiment when replacing hyaline cartilage defects. The method involves performing electron microscopy, where the resulting images are analysed quantitatively and qualitatively, the degree of defect replacement is determined by the change in the area of the defect and the surface structure of the damaged area is analysed, then points are assigned. Then the points are summed up and a value from 0 to 10 is obtained, where 0 is the ineffective use of the cell-engineered construct, and 10 is the most effective use of the cell-engineered construct.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of assessing the effectiveness of using a cell-engineered construct based on a polymer carrier and cell culture in an experiment when replacing hyaline cartilage defects.
