FIELD: data reading device.
SUBSTANCE: devices for reading data from documents, including passport and visa documents. A scanner with an active multispectral authentication system contains an optical scanner, an RFID reader, a reader with a document clamping mechanism, a dual-circuit RFID antenna, and a button for manually starting a full scanning cycle. A rectangular frame made of optically transparent material is fixed in the scanner body under a glass slide, internal dimensions of which are equal to the dimensions of the slide, the geometric centres of the slide and the internal contour of the frame are on the same axis perpendicular to the plane of the slide, white LEDs are equally discretely built into the frame body to illuminate the entire surface of the slide, an interconnected microprocessor is attached to the frame body from the outside and a wireless interface unit, all LEDs are connected to a microprocessor, which is configured to generate control signals to change the intensity of the LEDs automatically or by commands sent through the wireless interface unit.
EFFECT: possibility of reading holographic images.
