FIELD: document authentication.
SUBSTANCE: automatic scanner with a multispectral system for verifying the authenticity of passport and visa documents. The scanner contains a camera with an ultraviolet filter and illuminators connected to the control device, and an RFID reader connected to a USB hub reader with a document clamping mechanism containing a spring-loaded roller, a dual-circuit RFID antenna and a button for manually starting a full scan cycle, characterized in that a rectangular frame is fixed in the scanner housing under the slide, made of optically transparent material, the internal dimensions of which are equal to the dimensions of the slide, the frame is fixed in the scanner body so, that the geometric centers of the slide and the inner contour of the frame are on the same axis perpendicular to the plane of the slide, the frame is fixed in the housing so that its presence does not interfere with the operation of the illuminators available in the device housing, white glow LEDs are equally integrated into the frame housing, made with the ability to adjust the intensity of the glow, so that lighting is provided the entire surface of the slide, a microprocessor is mounted on the frame body from the outside, all LEDs are connected to the microprocessor, which is made with the ability to generate control signals for changing the intensity of the LEDs, a display connected to a microprocessor and two confirmation buttons connected to a microprocessor are built into the scanner housing, and the display is made with the ability to input and transmit information to the microprocessor using a stylus, a multimode indicator connected to a microprocessor is built into the scanner housing, the microprocessor is made with the ability to recognize optically variable paint and optically variable elements, automatic recognition of the type of passport and visa document, automatic recognition of the characters contained in the fields of this document, and the output of the fields of the passport and visa document with the recognized characters on the display for presentation to the scanner user.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of recognition of the type and content of the fields of passport and visa documents.
