FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing an encapsulated phase transition material, the method involves mixing water and a polymer emulsion stabilizer to obtain an aqueous solution containing 1.0–3.0 wt.% polymer stabilizer of the emulsion, into which a solution containing the following, wt.%, is added: organic phase-transition component—7.0–30.0, polyisocyanate—11.0–16.0, organic solvent—the rest up to 100.0, the obtained mixture is stirred to obtain a macroemulsion, which is then dispersed to form a microemulsion, then polyethylene glycol with an average molecular weight of 800–2,000 Da is added to the microemulsion in a weight ratio of 1:1 with respect to the amount of polyisocyanate, after which 4,N,N-trimethylaniline is added to the mixture formed, the mixing product is heated to temperature of 50.0–70.0 °C while stirring, holding at this temperature for 2.0–4.0 hours with the formation of an aqueous dispersion of particles, which are capsules with a polyurethane shell and a core of an organic phase-transition component, further, the capsules are separated and dried to obtain the desired encapsulated composite phase-transition material.

EFFECT: improved heat-accumulating properties of the material and ensuring stability of thermal properties and shape of the material.
