FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the assembly of metal frames for buildings of various purposes. A method of using an omega-shaped profile in a metal frame containing frame elements of a warm side and a cold side, made of cold-rolled omega-shaped profiles with flat parts, in which the elements of the warm and cold sides are mated with each other in such a way that the flat parts of the profiles of the warm side are mated with a gap through a non-metallic spacer to the flat parts of the cold side element profiles and fastened with self-tapping screws, forming a “heat lock”, with the warm side frame elements located on one side of the “heat lock”, and the cold side frame elements on the other side of the "heat lock".
EFFECT: reducing the heat loss of the building.
