FIELD: thermal power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for heat exchange processes, in particular for the utilization of low-grade thermal energy. A multi-heat-tube plate heat exchanger contains a housing divided internally by vertical parallel partitions into hot and cold coolant channels, the upper, lower and side ends of which are covered with pyramidal covers equipped with inlet and outlet coolant pipes, and each partition has N holes arranged in a checkerboard pattern relative to each other, through which N heat pipes made of a material with high thermal conductivity are passed and attached to these partitions, so that half of the body of each tube is located in the hot coolant channel, and the other half of the body is in the cold coolant channel, without touching the opposite walls of the above-mentioned channels, while the internal surfaces of the body of the heat pipes are covered with a grid made of capillary material, forming cells; the grids of the lid, bottom and cylindrical part of each heat pipe are interconnected by vertical cross-shaped wicks, covered with cross-shaped casings with triangular slots made on their upper, lower and side ends and attached to the ends and the cylindrical part of the heat pipe, the inner surface of its body, covered with a lattice made of strips of capillary material forming cells, constitute the evaporation and condensation zones, respectively, and the cross-shaped wicks form the transport zone.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of the heat exchanger.
