FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: devices for heating diesel fuel for internal combustion engines. The device consists of a housing 1, which houses the main 2 and additional 3 thermoelectrically conductive elements. Semiconductor heaters 4 are fixed between thermoelectrically conductive elements 2, 3. Additional thermoconductive elements 3 are made in the form of separate plates, each of which is intended for contact with one heater 4. The main thermoconductive element 2 is fixed in the housing 1 with the help of a collet lock 5, and it is permanently connected to the heaters 4 along the contacting surface by a composition that provides thermal conductivity in the connection. In housing 1 there are current-conducting contacts 6, 7 isolated from it and L-shaped spring 8, designed to include the device in the electrical circuit of the internal combustion engine, as well as to fix and press additional thermoconductive elements 3 to heaters 4. In the upper cover 9 of the housing there is an inlet fitting 10, and for the passage of fuel in the housing 1 and the latch 5 there are holes 11-13. In the lower cover 14 of the housing, a discharge fitting 15 is made. The top and bottom covers are sealed with the body using two oil and petrol resistant gaskets 16. To increase the heat removal on the surface of the main thermoconductive element 2, cylindrical protrusions 17 are made from the side of the outlet fitting 15. The protrusions 18 are placed on the surface of the main thermoconductive element 2 from the side of the inlet fitting 10. The surface of the additional thermoconductive elements 3 is also made with cylindrical protrusions 19. To control and regulate the temperature of the fuel leaving through the outlet fitting 15, an electronic sensor 20 is installed, which transmits information to the control unit located in the cab of the car or tractor.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the device while increasing its reliability and efficiency during the cold season.
