FIELD: filter systems and materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processes for producing a hybrid filter, which is mainly based on micro- and nanocarbon materials supported in porous polymer structures. The hybrid carbon-based material consists of micronized graphite, activated carbon and one or more of graphene oxide, graphene and multi-layer graphene sheets. These materials are bonded to a porous polyethylene backing. Moreover, the material has a specific surface area of more than 900 m2/g. The invention also relates to a filter containing said material and to a method for producing such material.
EFFECT: high selectivity and efficiency in filtering volatile compounds.
