FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: lithium extraction from lithium-containing chloride brines, from natural brines, process solutions and wastewater from oil and gas production, chemical, chemical-metallurgical and biochemical industries. A granule for sorption of lithium from an aqueous solution contains sorbent particles from a chlorine-containing variety of double hydroxide of aluminum and lithium (DHAL-Cl) and a waterproof spherical core coated with a solution-permeable composite of sorbent particles and a hydrophilic binder. The hydrophilic binder has an open-pore structure.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the process of sorption of lithium from oil, fat, and oil-contaminated aqueous solutions and desorption of lithium from granules.
