FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: combined one-stage laser treatment of small-sized amelanotic choroidal melanoma of juxtapipillary localization is performed. First, transpupillary destructive laser coagulation is performed at a distance of 1 mm from the optic nerve head, and then transpupillary thermotherapy of the rest of the tumor is carried out with the capture of 1.5 mm of visible healthy tissue at a laser radiation wavelength of 810 nm, exposure 60 s, power from 400 to 600 mW, diameter spots up to 1.5 mm.
EFFECT: invention ensures complete tumor resorption with the formation of a chorioretinal scar and improves the vital prognosis of patients.
