SUBSTANCE: telescopic leg contains an outer part and an inner part. The outer part is made with a hole, and the inner part is made of two parts with a gap. A wedge made in the form of a rod containing an elliptical body is installed in the hole and the gap. The wedge is rotatable. The telescopic leg further contains a locking mechanism containing grooves made on the inner part, and a spring bracket attached to the outer part and configured to interact with the grooves. The wedge additionally contains journals located at the edges of the elliptical body and designed to support the edges of the hole, as well as a cam release eccentric and a shaft with a drive handle. The release cam eccentric is designed to interact with the spring bracket when the wedge is rotated.

EFFECT: simplifying, facilitating, and improving reliability of locking, as well as increasing operational safety.
