SUBSTANCE: on the image medium of the image processing device, a first control pattern used for concentration detection is processed; this first reference pattern includes a first black sub-pattern as well as a second non-black sub-pattern. The first sensor is controlled to detect the concentration of the first sub-pattern and the second sensor is controlled to detect the concentration of the second sub-pattern. On this image medium, processing of a second control pattern used for detecting color misregistration is performed; this second control pattern includes a third color sub-pattern as well as a fourth color sub-pattern; the mentioned third sub-pattern and fourth sub-pattern have differences. This first sensor is controlled to detect color misregistration of this third sub-pattern and this second sensor is controlled to detect color misregistration of this fourth sub-pattern.
EFFECT: reduction in the time expenses of the calibration process.
