SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of imaging technology and more specifically to an image colour correction method and an image forming device. Method comprises obtaining a signal value generated by a detection device for detecting a correction pattern; determining the positions of the starting point of the pattern and the black blocks in accordance with the magnitude of the change in the signal value; determining the positions of the remaining blocks in accordance with the positions of the black blocks; calculating the block offset value for the position of the remaining block relative to the black block position and performing the block offset value correction in accordance with the preset offset value.
EFFECT: high accuracy of printing due to said colour correction.
