SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary-type mass transfer devices for carrying out mass transfer processes between gas (steam) and liquid and can be used in the gas, chemical and oil refining industries. A rotary spray mass transfer apparatus is revealed, which contains a cylindrical body, a rotating shaft, an electric motor, and also phase supply devices. In this case, flat rectangular blades with flat vertical plates are attached to the shaft. The angle between the plane of the flat blade and the plane of the flat vertical plate is 90°. Fixed sieve trays with fixed drain pipes are attached to the wall of the apparatus. Along the height of the apparatus, rotating flat rectangular blades alternate with stationary sieve plates. There is also an annular gap between the rotating shaft and the stationary sieve plate.

EFFECT: increase in intensity of mass transfer processes and a reduction in the cost of metal for manufacturing the apparatus.
