FIELD: teaching aids in medicine.
SUBSTANCE: simulator for practicing the skills of forming anastomoses on a beating heart includes a body designed to fix training objects and simulate mechanical contractions of a beating heart, and a control unit. The body includes two parts, an upper part and a lower part. The lower part is made motionless and contains an element for fixing to the workplace. The upper part is movable relative to the lower part, contains at least one removable element for fixing the donor vessel, a corrugated working surface and at least two removable brackets for fixing training objects to the working surface. The upper part on the side edges contains limiting projections to prevent the fixing brackets from slipping. The upper part is larger than the lower part, completely covering it. Inside the upper part there are hooks, one end of which is movably fixed to the walls of the lower part, and the other end is movably fixed to the inner surface of the upper part of the body. The lower part of the housing contains the power supply system and motor. The motor is fixed to one of the hooks using a shaft. At the points of its contact with the walls of the lower part there are rubber gaskets to dampen vibrations. The element for fixing the donor vessel is a flexible stand with at least one clip for holding the donor vessel. The control unit is a wired remote control, has dimensions of not more than 4×5×6 cm and contains two regulators, to change the frequency and amplitude of movements of the upper part of the body.
EFFECT: increase in mobility, portability, water resistance and bringing of the conditions for practicing anastomoses closer to real ones.
