FIELD: organic chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: variants of a solid acid catalyst for the alkylation, in particular of isoparaffins, with olefins, to variants of a method for producing a solid acid catalyst, and to a method for the alkylation of isoparaffins with olefins. One variant of the solid acid catalyst has a specific macropore volume in the range of 0.30 to 0.50 ml/g, a ratio of the specific macropore volume to the characteristic length of the catalyst particles in the range of 1.0 to 2.5 ml/(g⋅mm), and the ratio of the specific surface area and length of the catalyst particles in the range of 3.40 to 4.50 m2/mm. Macropores mean pores with diameter more than 50 μm. The method for producing this variant of the catalyst includes the following stages: i) providing a suspension containing a solid acid component; ii) mixing the suspension containing the solid acid component with an alumina sol having a particle size in the range of 20 to 400 μm and drying the resulting mixture; and iii) mixing the dried mixture with the extrusion aid and the peptizing agent and molding.

EFFECT: creation of a solid acid catalyst that has improved catalytic performance characteristics and is suitable for use in the alkylation of isoparaffins with olefins.
