FIELD: hydrometallurgy; extraction of palladium.

SUBSTANCE: method includes the following stages: (1) mixing the palladium-containing material with nitric acid and an alkali metal ion-containing catalyst to obtain a mixed liquid, separating the residue after heating and reacting to obtain a palladium-containing leaching solution, (2) separating and extracting the palladium-containing leaching solution obtained in step (1), to obtain metallic palladium or palladium-containing products, while the solution remaining after separation is reused in stage (1).

EFFECT: reducing the time of extraction of palladium, no secondary pollution, compliance with the requirements of environmental protection.
