FIELD: rubber composition.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a rubber composition obtained by mixing a hydrazide compound represented by chemical formula (1) in a ratio of 0.5 to 3.0 weight parts, zinc oxide in a ratio of 1 to 5 weight parts and soot in a ratio of 30 to 60 weight parts per 100 weight parts of diene rubber. The specific surface area of soot for nitrogen adsorption (N2SA) ranges from 60 to 150 m2/g. Diene rubber contains 80 weight parts or more of natural rubber and/or synthetic isoprene rubber. The composition is prepared by (a) mixing at least the specified hydrazide compound and carbon black to form a mixture and (b) mixing zinc oxide with the mixture obtained in step (a). The maximum temperature limit during mixing in step (a) is 145 to 170°C.
EFFECT: present invention makes it possible to obtain a rubber composition and a tire from it that has low heat generation and high durability.
