FIELD: fuel equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel equipment for internal combustion engines and can be used in the manufacture of high-pressure fuel accumulators for Common Rail systems. The method for manufacturing a fuel accumulator for a Common Rail system includes obtaining a workpiece using metal forming methods, machining the part and control operations. Includes installation of a fuel accumulator during control operations into spring-loaded three-lobe return cones with the possibility of rotation around the longitudinal axis so that the flash present on the part after stamping operations is located between the blades of the return cones.
EFFECT: simplification of the manufacturing technology of a high-pressure fuel accumulator.
