FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and relates to a device for calibrating photodetectors by the absolute power of the radiation flux. The device contains an emitter, a neutral filter, two polarizers, an angular position translator, a two-axis translator, a measuring photodetector, a calibrated photodetector, and an absolute cryogenic radiometer. The cryogenic radiometer consists of a Brewster entrance window and a receiving cavity. The emitter, neutral filter, and polarizers are installed on the translator of the angular position, which makes it possible to set the angle of incidence of the radiation flux into the receiving cavity of the absolute cryogenic radiometer. A calibrated photodetector and a cryogenic radiometer are installed on a two-axis translator of position, which provides their input-output from the radiation beam zone. The measuring photodetector is installed so that its receiving surface maximally perceives the flux of radiation reflected from the Brewster window. The polarizers are installed in swivel holders with the ability to accurately position their angular position.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of calibration.
