FIELD: technical electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical electrochemistry and specifically to production of flexible anode materials based on carbon fabric modified with metal oxides and polymers used in metal-ion batteries, particularly in lithium-ion batteries. Method includes preliminary heat treatment of carbon fabric surface at 300 °C for 2 hours in an air atmosphere with subsequent modification of the surface of the working electrode from carbon fabric with tungsten oxides and the subsequent formation of a coating based on transition metal oxides and a polymer from an electrolyte during polarization with alternating asymmetric current with an average current density of 0.66–0.80 A/dm2 at temperature of 65–70 °C and electrolysis time in range of 20–30 minutes. Electrolyte contains components at the following ratio, g⋅l-1: ammonium heptamolybdate ((NH4)6Mo7O24⋅4H2O) 20.0–40.0, cobalt sulphate (CoSO4⋅7H2O) 80.0–100.0, iron sulphate (FeSO4⋅7H2O) 8.0–10.0, nickel sulphate (NiSO4⋅7H2O) 20.0–30.0, cobalt chloride (CoCl2⋅6H2O) 10.0–14.0, citric acid (C6H8O7) 2.0–4.0, boric acid (H3BO3) 20.0–30.0, polyacrylic acid (C2H3COOH)n 0.02–0.08.
EFFECT: higher specific surface area of carbon fabric due to heat treatment and simultaneous deposition of metal oxides and polyacrylic acid on surface of carbon fabric.
