FIELD: production of zirconium oxide and silicone monomers.
SUBSTANCE: combined method for producing zirconium oxide and methyl chlorosilane is proposed, including: producing zirconium oxide using zircon sand, carbon, chlorine gas, silicon and hydrogen chloride as raw materials, and the products separated during the production of zirconium oxide include gas-phase products and liquid-phase products, while methylchlorosilane is obtained from gas-phase products separated during the preparation of zirconium oxide. A combined production method has also been proposed, which makes it possible to obtain polycrystalline silicon in addition to zirconium oxide and methylchlorosilane using liquid-phase products as raw materials, and corresponding installations.
EFFECT: use of carbon monoxide, hydrogen chloride and other waste gases formed during production of zirconium oxide as raw materials for production of methylchlorosilane, and the silicon tetrachloride formed as a by-product as a raw material for production of polycrystalline silicon allows the efficient reuse of waste gases and silicon tetrachloride, reducing processing costs waste gases and silicon tetrachloride and the costs of producing methylchlorosilane and polycrystalline silicon, and excluding environmental pollution.
