FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two variants of a method for removing sulphur-containing compounds from oil, petroleum products, or gas condensate. In one variants, the method includes introducing an additive containing acrylonitrile, or at least one acrylonitrile-based compound; introducing a synergistic additive containing at least one base. The method is also characterized by that additive containing acrylonitrile, or at least one acrylonitrile-based compound, contains 25-100 wt.% of acrylonitrile, or acrylonitrile based compounds, and 0-75 wt.% of at least one hydrocarbon with a boiling point in the range of 30 – 380°C or fractions of hydrocarbons of various structures with a boiling point in the range of 30 – 380°C, and to obtain a synergistic additive an organic or inorganic base is dissolved in alcohol and organic solvent, or only in an organic solvent.

EFFECT: proposed invention makes it possible to increase the purity of raw materials for further processing, to meet the requirements for environmental protection and safe working conditions.
