FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural production, namely to a method of producing animal protein and zoohumus. Method of producing protein of animal origin and zoohumus with the help of larvae of black soldier fly consists in the fact that produced eggs of flies are daily removed from egg-laying, placed in an incubation container, at ratio of 5 g of eggs per 500 g of a balanced nutrient medium, incubated for 3–4 days at an air temperature of 28–30 °C and relative humidity 70–80%. Then the container with the mixture and the incubated eggs is moved to the common larvae growth section on the rack at an air temperature of 20–22 °C, where larvae are grown to II-III age for 4–5 days, then larvae biomass is sieved from zoohumus. Sifted larvae are introduced into containers with a balanced nutrient medium, controlling humidity to 65%, at the rate of application — 500 g of larvae per 12 kg of the nutrient medium, with a substrate layer thickness of not more than 10–12 cm. Bioconversion of the organic substrate takes place within 10–12 days. Biomass of the larvae is separated from the zoohumus; the obtained zoohumus is packed in bags and sent for sale. Part of the larvae in the pre-pupal state is left for further reproduction, and the remaining part of the larvae is sent for processing to obtain animal protein. Balanced nutrient medium used is organic wastes of a fruit-and-vegetable mixture with addition of protein wastes from fish and meat production.

EFFECT: providing high output of biomass, reducing labour input of larvae introduction into the growing substrate and simplifying the process of zoohumus and larval biomass separation.
